FAQs
To eliminate any risk of diamonds sticking together they should be clean and free of any grease.
To ensure that all the melee loaded into the instrument have been screened and dispensed, parcels should be weighed before and after screening. This checks that no diamonds have got stuck in the system – possibly due to grease or static. Owing to the size of the melee, we recommend a balance that can weigh to 5dp if possible, or at least have an accuracy so that you can ensure not even one stone is left in the machine.
It is recommended that the AMSMicro calibration is checked every 30 days. A calibration disc is supplied with each AMSMicro machine. The calibration disc should be stored in a safe place.
The calibration operation is simple and on-screen instructions are displayed on the AMSMicro touch screen that will guide the user through the process.
